With grant funds from the Arkansas Department of Agriculture-Natural Resource Division, GCCD
created “Only Rain Down The Storm Drain” to raise awareness about local water quality and
stormwater issues in Garland County. Outreach materials were distributed at community events
throughout the year. In partnership with the City of Hot Springs Parks and Trails Department, Garland
County Master Gardeners, Diamond Lakes Master Naturalists, and the Arkansas Game and Fish
Commission, GCCD sponsored several events and projects. Our goal is to give the residents of Garland
County the resources they need to help improve our water quality.
